On July 7-8, 2022, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Union of Management of Medical Territorial Divisions (MEDICAL), the Institute of Scientific Research Medical Recovery (ETTBI) and the Medical University of Azerbaijan (ATU), Azerbaijani Physiote Scientific-practical conference named “Stroke Rehabilitation Module-1” was held with the support of the Rapiya and Rehabilitation Association and the National Neurologists Association.
The purpose of organizing the two-day conference was to improve the knowledge and skills of medical workers and to introduce them to modern innovations in this field.
Director of the Institute of Scientific-Research Medical Recovery with the opening speech at the conference, t. a. f.d., Dr. Parvin Akbarov made a speech. P. Akbarov gave brief information about the history of the Institute to the conference, and spoke on “Risk of insult after COVID-19 and preventive rehabilitation measures for it”.
Later, Professor Sadagat Huseynova, Deputy Director of Scientific Affairs of the ETTBI, also gave a speech on “New Approaches to Rehabilitation After Stroke” after giving information about the scientific directions of the Institute.
Dr. Serhat Ozkan, Professor of Eskishehir Osmangazi University, Dr. Ivona Sarzinska-Dlugosz, Chairman of the Rehabilitation Department of the European Stroke Organization (ESO) at the conference They attended as a petitioner.
As guests are Yagut Garayeva, Head of the Strategic Development Department of MEDICINE, Fuad Hasanov, Professor of the Scientific Surgery Center named after Topchubashov, Aytan Mammadbeyli, Head of the Department of Neurology of the Azerbaijan Medical University, Development of Doctors Rana Shiraliyeva, Head of the Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology Department of the Institute of Lecture attended.
At the end, the conference attendees were awarded certificates and continuing medical education (DTT) credit scores.
